The Cointreau Fizz was created in the 1950s in Paris by Jean Lupoïu.
The difference between the Cointreau Fizz and Cointreau Bubbles is slight – the use of sparkling water in the latter makes for a smoother drink, so that was our preference.

ingredients
- 2 measures Cointreau
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- 3 measures sparkling water
- Ice cubes
TO SERVE
- Highball glass
- Lime slice to garnish
METHOD
1.
Fill your glass with ice, and squeeze in the lime juice
2.
Add Cointreau, then top with sparkling water
3.
Garnish with a slice of lime, and serve
